Mobile Retail Operator

Pay: £23,000 – £28,000 per year

Are you a natural organiser with a passion for delivering exceptional results? We’re looking for a Mobile Retail Operator to join our growing Operations and Engineering team in Hoddesdon and across our prestigious client sites.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for filling and cleaning coffee and vending machines, ensuring they are fully operational and meet company and legislative standards.
No prior experience as a Merchandiser or Operator is required, full training will be provided. We’re looking for reliable individuals with a polite, professional, and proactive attitude who take pride in maintaining high service standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for refilling, cleaning, and maintaining coffee and vending machines across client sites, ensuring they’re fully stocked, spotless, and running smoothly.
- Refill and clean vending and coffee machines on-site according to the issued plan and company standards.
- Complete daily site visits and communicate with the service desk to report any issues or faults.
- Ensure stock is ordered, checked, and maintained at adequate levels.
- Keep the company van tidy and ensure all stock is in date.
- Report any machine faults or breakdowns immediately.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Team Perks
The Requirements
You should be dependable, physically capable, and hold a full UK driving licence, with a proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while maintaining high service standards across various client sites.
- Ability to lift and move stock (such as drinks cans, confectionery, cups, and syrups) between storage areas and machine sites, often across multiple floors using trolleys.
- Comfortable handling weights up to 10–12kg (average 5kg).
- Physically capable of cleaning vending machines, including lifting and tipping buckets of liquid waste.
- Willingness to walk around large client sites during a standard 9-hour working day.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to provide proof of right to work at interview.
- Successful applicants will need to complete DBS checks and provide satisfactory references.
