We’re looking for a driven, results-focused Business Development Manager with a true “hunter mentality” to join our team in Hoddesdon.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of driving new business growth, managing a mix of inbound leads while proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, combining strategic thinking with relentless energy to build strong client relationships and close deals that make an impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take charge of driving new business growth, managing leads, building relationships, and proactively hunting for new opportunities.

  • Managing and qualifying inbound leads, ensuring prompt and effective follow-up.
  • Converting enquiries into sales by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Proactively hunting for new business opportunities across target markets and sectors.
  • Delivering outbound strategies including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and social selling.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborating closely with the marketing team to improve campaign performance and lead quality.
  • Reporting on sales activity, pipeline progress, and performance metrics using CRM tools (HubSpot).
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets through a focused, high-energy approach.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven sales professional with a strong hunter mentality and proven B2B experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience, with proven success in both inbound and outbound sales.
  • A strong hunter mentality – proactive, persistent, and motivated by results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Confident cold caller with a consultative approach to sales.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) and digital sales tools.
  • Ability to travel to meet clients and attend events as required.
  • Must be able to commute to Hoddesdon (EN11 0EX) or plan to relocate before starting.
